Undergraduate Students

Thai undergraduate students or international undergraduate students studying in Thai universities.

Teams of four

A team must consist of four undergraduate students.

Cross-faculty & Cross-university

A team can consist of students from different faculties and/or different universities.

One team only

Participants must not be a member of more than one team.

TUBC Participants Ineligible

Participants of TUBC are not eligible to apply for The Challenger 2026.

In-person Attendance Required

All members of qualified teams are required to be physically present on The Presentation Day, which will be held on 22 Aug 2026.

The Competition

In a business case competition, participants are given a case based on a real company to analyze, solve, and present to the judges under time constraints. The business cases will include facts and data about a company's situation, issues, and/or future goals. Teams will be judged on various criteria, such as depth of analysis, creativity, practicality, presentation skills, and responses to judges' questions.

Case Format

Qualifying Round

After the application process ends, the participants will be given a case to analyze. An electronic file of each team's solutions has to be submitted to the organizing committee before the deadline. The solutions of the business case will be evaluated by judges selected by the organizing committee.

Presentation Round

In the Presentation Round, all 20 teams will be randomly divided into five divisions to compete in the Preliminary Round, where only one team from each division will be selected as a finalist. The five finalists will then advance to the Final Round, where the winning team will earn a direct qualification to TUBC 2026.

Presentation Timing:

Each team will be given 15 minutes to present followed by 10 minutes for Q&A session for both Preliminary Round and Final Round.
